Summary: Photographer Hans Eijkelboom is fascinated by the clash between the idealistic constructs of modernism and the harsh, sometimes dilapidated reality of his own living environment in the Bijlmer, the city district of Amsterdam-Southeast that was realized in the late 1970s.
